Delete your account

You can delete your Gutful account and all your data at any time. It cannot be undone.

Use “Delete account” before you delete the app. If you only delete the app, what you have logged goes with it. But with “Delete account” you also remove the anonymous ID we hold.
Want to keep anything? Download your data first: Profile → Privacy and consent → Download my data. You get a file you can save or send.

In the app

Fastest
  1. Open Gutful and tap the profile button at the top of Home.
  2. Choose Privacy and consent.
  3. Tap Delete account and all data, and confirm with Delete everything.

Without the app

Everything you log is only on your phone – we don’t have it. If you have already deleted the app, the data is gone from your phone.

So by email, we can only remove you from the waitlist. We can’t find the anonymous ID from your email address, but the AI usage counts are deleted by themselves within 30 days.

What we delete

  • Your account
  • All meals, check-ins and notes
  • Health information, cycle and consents
  • Your gut garden and collection
  • The anonymous ID we hold and the AI usage counts

Everything is removed from your phone straight away. If you are online, the anonymous ID and the counts we hold are deleted straight away too – otherwise the counts are deleted by themselves within 30 days. We don’t send a confirmation by email.

What we keep

Only information that cannot be linked to you: when an AI call was made and how long it took (deleted after 90 days), and whether you found an answer from the Coach helpful (deleted after 365 days). Never what you wrote, said or photographed.
